This is a land of drama, history and wildlife as nature intended. A land at the southern edge of the world, thinly populated by people who are proud to be British. This is a population once in decline but now growing again - and prepared to use resourcefulness and appreciation of the natural surroundings to harness the gifts of mother earth to create products which reflect the purity of her elements. Visit this land and you will never forget it. Rising from the ashes of the 1982 conflict Falkland Islanders are now bringing to the world products of unique origin and quality - products which carry all the hallmarks of a place where nature is still in charge. The Falkland Wool Centre was established by Ann & Eddie Chandler in 2000 and is situated only a short walk up the hill from the public jetty in Stanley Harbour. We carry the complete range of Falkland Knitwear (made from Falkland machine washable knitting yarns) and other authentic island goods from local suppliers including felt and woven items. Our range is ideally suited for day to day leisurewear, particularly during the winter months. Those who take part in outdoor pursuits such as hiking, climbing, skiing, fishing, golf, etc. will also appreciate the high quality and performance of our range. Of course, our knitwear also makes an ideal Christmas gift. Visit the Falkland Islands for an experience you'll never forget. Or let the Islands come to you - become the proud owner of a Falkland Sweater - and know the warmth of the Islands.
