Welcome
The Falkland Islands - a place of inestimable wild beauty and tranquillity - and unquestionably British. Discovered in 1592 by John Davies of Stoke Gabriel in Devonshire, the greatest navigator of his time, this land, this group of 700 islands in the South Atlantic is the home of the Polworth sheep, producer of the world's finest wool.

This is a land of drama, history and wildlife as nature intended. A land at the southern edge of the world, thinly populated by people who are proud to be British. This is a population once in decline but now growing again - and prepared to use resourcefulness and appreciation of the natural surroundings to harness the gifts of mother earth to create products which reflect the purity of her elements.

Visit this land and you will never forget it. Rising from the ashes of the 1982 conflict Falkland Islanders are now bringing to the world products of unique origin and quality - products which carry all the hallmarks of a place where nature is still in charge.

A&E Knitwear of Stanley are proud to present a range of knitwear which is 100% pure Falkland wool. Our classic sweater designs are now available in a range of 12 colourways & 5 Sizes. Experience the unbelievably lightweight texture and luxuriate in the softness and warmth of a Falkland Sweater from A&E Knitwear.

Visit the Falkland Islands for an experience you'll never forget. Or let the Islands come to you - become the proud owner of a Falkland Sweater - and know the warmth of the Islands.

"We were driven in among certaine isles never before discovered by any known relation .... unless it had pleased God of his wonderful mercie to have ceased the winds, wee must of necessitie have perished."
The above extract from the record of Elizabethan navigator John Davis' voyage of 1592 is generally accepted as evidence of the first proven sighting of the Falkland Islands.
